You will complement our existing Ontario based environmental remediation team and will assist the Project Manager in developing CAD drawings to support remediation designs and activities at our client sites

WSP
A day in the life:
- You will produce drawings using AutoCAD software for largescale government contacts
- These drawings may include but are not limited to: floorplans, sections and elevations
- You will update existing drawings to meet CAD standards & to conform with engineering design
- You will gather & implement required drawing information from redline corrections, field notes, photos and site plans
- You will coordinate project drawings with project managers, CAD staff and others
- You will follow procedures to organize electronic and hardcopy drawings and related data files
- You will ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner
What you'll bring to WSP
:
- Two to five years of related experience (structural drafting is preferred)
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or similar program is preferred
- Membership with OACETT as a C.Tech. or C.E.T. is an asset but not required
- Experience with ISO 9001 is an asset
- Must be eligible for and obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance (Reliability Status)
- Strong AutoCAD skills (Preferably Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 or newer)
- Experience with Bentley ProjectWise or similar cloud based file storage is an asset
- Knowledge and experience with the Ontario Building Code is an asset
- Organized and Motivated Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and practice selfimplemented quality control measures
- Attention to detail is a must
- Some travel and overtime may be required
