HR Assistant (12 month Contract)


The HR Assistant is responsible in providing quality HR support to The HR Team and Team Members in our Oshawa Facility.

HR Assistant is also responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the team on various projects.

This is a 12 month contract position.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support Human Resources with ongoing or new projects, with a focus in compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to Team Members.
  • Prepare miscellaneous Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents as needed.
  • Assist in a variety of HR projects.
  • Work proactively with other Team Members.
  • Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Successfully completed a postsecondary degree or diploma, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 1 year of work experience, preferably in a customer service or public facing role.

  • Able to work with and effectively communicate with operators on the floor as well as Company Management.

  • Planning and organizing skills.

  • Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
