SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Promotes all of Century Casino's services to patrons and event guests
- maintaining, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and engagement.


  • Communicate accurate information with prospective clients for potential bookings.
  • Engage in friendly conversation with guests to understand their preferences, assess satisfaction levels and address concerns.
  • Manage guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Liaison with Sales, Marketing, F&B and other departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Deliver engaging and informative courses on betting basics.

None


QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a winning attitude and outgoing personality, with a focus on delivering unsurpassed excellence in customer service. The ability to problem solve is necessary. The position requires excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent organizational and time management skills.

Stamina and energy are required to work long hours, when necessary, with the ability to work a varied schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends.

Must possess the ability to work effectively with all departments and employees, as well as independently to achieve objectives and goals set out.

Ability to pay close attention to details. Ability to work well under pressure and make responsible decisions quickly.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be over 18 years of age. High School Diploma. A combination of education and experience may be considered. One to two years of experience in promotions/ events/ public relations/ communications/ sales. Knowledge with computer programs like Excel or Word as well as web-based programs similar to Showpass. Food and Beverage experience would be an asset. Horse racing experience is an asset, but not required


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English. Able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group and large group settings.


WORK ENVIRONMENT


Essential duties involve working with large numbers of people inside or outside, which is frequently loud or containing high noise levels.
