iA Financial Group is looking for a
Senior Advisor to join the
Regulatory Affairs, Governance and Risk Management Policies team, reporting to the Risk Management and Compliance executive.


In your new role, you will:

Regulatory affairs

  • Attend meetings with regulatory authorities and the corporate business segments
  • Participate in regulatory reviews and act on requests for information working alongside experts in the company's business segments and units
  • Write the company's responses to various requests for reviews
  • Follow up on the recommendations from monitoring reports
  • Take part in preparing the quarterly regulatory affairs report

Risk management policies

  • Help maintain a corporate policy framework that defines the principles and content of corporate policies, the hierarchy of all corporate standards documents and the governance requirements for each document
  • Coordinate annual reviews of corporate policies in collaboration with the various business segments
  • Write and update risk management policies in response to changes in iA Financial Group's strategy, activities and risk limits

Desired profile

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience (legal, financial, risk management, compliance and/or governance)
  • Mastery of risk principles, standards and practices in the financial or banking sector
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including policy writing experience
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Ability to influence others
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster a harmonious workplace environment and good relationships with external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage numerous and often conflicting priorities and develop plans to achieve them
  • Strong sense of initiative
