This role sits within Northpoint Commercial Finance.

Northpoint Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank of Canada, provides expert, flexible and personal inventory financing to dealers and manufacturers across the U.S.

and Canada.

Responsibilities:

o Underwrite and document a combination of floorplan and, when necessary, asset-based loans.

o Participate in ad hoc and other projects related to reporting and compliance.

o Provide assistance to the AVP - Underwriting, CRO, AVP of Credit and Credit Manager when needed.

o Adhere to NCF's and LBC's Code of Conduct and embody the qualities identified in The Ideal Team Player by Patrick Lencioni.

Qualifications:

o Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance;
o Possess 3 years' worth of underwriting experience in secured lending (ABL experience is a plus);
o Underwrite multiple, overlapping transactions during peak volume periods;
o Be proficient in cash flow analysis and have an ability to recognize and articulate the key risks and elements of a transaction based on changes in a borrower's cash cycle and other factors;
o Possess a sound understanding of the Uniform Commercial Code; and

o Demonstrate an ability to work constructively with others, encouraging a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving.

o Bilingual communication skills (Written & Verbal) is mandatory.
