Job Description:
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Environmental Regional Business Line Leader for immediate employment in one of AECOM's Canadian offices.
A compelling business leader with both P&L and sales growth responsibility. Sets the highest safety and ethical standards and leads by example. Drives employee engagement and professional development. Works cooperatively with other regions and business lines to integrate delivery of all AECOM's services.
Provides industry leadership and develops and executes a growth strategy in coordination with the Business Line and Regional Leadership. Oversees development of capture strategies, directs pursuits of profitable business and ensures safe, high quality, profitable project delivery. May also represent the company in industry, municipal, provincial, state, and federal group forums.
Reports in a matrix to the Business Line and Regional Executives, works in conjunction with Market Sector and Account Leaders and oversees Regional Market Sector and Technical Practice Leaders.
Job Summary
- Provides strategic direction and leadership to Canada Region environment team
- Advances the strategic direction of the Region and positions the business line for sustained and continued profitable growth consistent with the context of the strategic plan.
- Provides leadership for the Region by communicating the strategy and objectives of the organization and Region to the environmental business line.
- Accountable for the Environmental business line's P&L including revenue generation, project margin achievement, DSO, G&A, project delivery, client satisfaction, staff utilization, technical talent and team resources (hiring, staff retention etc), safety, claims resolution and quality.
- Participates in the development of Regional growth and business development strategy in collaboration with other Regional business line leaders and Client Account Managers.
- Implements strategic plans and objectives of the organization as applicable to the Region.
- Ensures the success and growth of the Region in collaboration with other Regions and Global Environment.
- Demonstrates creativity, foresight and mature judgement.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 15+ years of related environmental experience, including 8+ years of experience in business development, operations management, Profit and Loss, and staff management
- Outstanding communication skills
- Consultative, serviceoriented mindset and collaborative problemsolving skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Business degree
- 20+ years of related experience
- 10+ years
