Description

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic office staff to join the team in our head office based in Montreal.

Our organization is an international food import and export business. The position will be held at the head

office in downtown Montreal. The company also has production facilities in PEI and New Brunswick.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct data entries of the office.
  • Liaise with freight forwarder, plants, warehouse, and transport companies.
  • Planning and managing logistics (land, air and sea freight).
  • Generate documentation for receipt, shipment and delivery and follow up on customer feedback
locally and internationally.

  • Release products and maintain up to date inventories in our system and at warehouse.
  • Track deliveries and stock receipts, and payment when necessary.
  • Coordinate customs activities.
  • Participate in the administration of external audit preparation of CFIA, MSC and others.
  • Assist with any other administrative projects as needed by the business.
Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Working experience in food manufacturing industry
Specific Skills

  • Knowledge of Incoterms, HS code system, CFIA /FDA / EU food regulations,
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other MS office suites
  • Proactive and selfmotivated and able to work independently, as well as within a team.
  • Organized, flexible and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Being able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and able to report results in a concise format.
  • Able to plan, organize, and follow job activities in accordance with their importance and respond
flexibly and effectively to changes or interruptions.

  • Ability to multitask and find and propose solutions in a busy environment.

  • Related academic Diploma and or skills and experience
  • Other relevant certificates (an asset)

Salary:
$40,495.79-$50,457.28 per year
