Food Services

Reporting to the Coordinator, the Food Services Clerk performs clerical duties including printing patient menus, tray tickets, tally and inventory reports from CBORD, as well as labels and reports for both adult and paediatric feeds.

Qualifications:

What you bring:

Successful completion of a Secondary School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by the Hospital
Successful completion of Safe Food Handling Certificate
Minimum 9 months recent, related work experience preferably in the areas of diets, menus, and tube feeds
Recent experience with CBORD systems preferred
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Demonstrated attention to detail
Demonstrated advanced organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated knowledge of & commitment to the principles of patient & family centered care
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
Provide proof of Health Canadaapproved COVID19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health's current definition of being fully vaccinated
