What you will do:
Reporting to the Manager, Global Learning and Engagement, the Global Learning Coordinator supports the achievement of Humber's internationalization goals and objectives.
The Global Learning Coordinator is responsible for providing a comprehensive array of support services & advocacy for students, faculty, and staff who engage in any College-approved global initiative outside of the province of Ontario and virtually, including but not limited to, semester exchange, faculty-led trips, work-integrated learning, COIL initiatives, and academic summer programs.
Responsibilities include providing logístical and administrative support for all international mobility and internationalization initiatives; leading student enrollment and coordination, transition and re-entry programming, and recruitment activities with faculty and staff for inbound and outbound students; and developing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of Humber's comprehensive internationalization activities and strategies.
What you bring to the role:
Education
- 4 year degree or equivalent in Project Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Student Affairs, Student Services/Education, International Development/Relations
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following areas: international education, student services, project management, business administration, combined with experience in coordinating a wide range of global opportunities in a postsecondary environment
Skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and project planning skills. Able to communicate effectively with a diverse student population and at all levels in an organization
- A goal/results focused individual, with the ability to balance and manage competing priorities in a high volume environment, and work with mínimal supervision
- Other qualifications include demonstrated ability to listen, empathize, problem solve, exercise good judgment, work with interruptions, and resolve conflicts.
- Administrative and document tracking skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Contact Management Systems; Experience with Banner and Blackboard would be an asset.
