Employment type:
Full Time Hourly 35-44 hours per week

  • Starting rate: $23.50$24.50
  • On top of the base wage, the Licensed Childcare Supervisor will receive Provincial Wage Enhancement of $2/hr.
Full-time placement offers: A comprehensive benefits package after probationary period.

Additionally, these positions have opportunities to participate in a company matched retirement savings plan after successful completion of probation period.


Qualifications needed for Employment:

College and/or University Diploma/Degree in:Early Childhood Education;

  • At time of hire

Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators:

  • At time of hire
  • Proof of membership in good standing
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance
  • Valid only if obtained within 6 months or less. Must have at time of hire or proof of purchase with receipt (Takes up to 8 weeks to obtain with the police department)


  • Immunizations Records

  • At time of hire


  • Standard First Aid/CPRC

  • Must be valid at time of hire


  • Food Handlers

  • Can obtain during employment


  • High Five

  • Can obtain during employment
  • At least three years experience in Licensed Childcare Programming
  • Supervisory experience an asset


The Childcare Program Supervisor is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of licensed childcare programs at the assigned Center.

The Childcare Program Supervisor is responsible for the care of the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara property and assets as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:_

  • Deliverables include but are not exclusive to: _
  • Supervision of Licensed Childcare programs in accordance with MEDU guidelines and CCEYA regulations;
  • Records are available and filed confidentially as required.
  • Qualified and competent employees are trained and supervised;
  • Revenue, expenses, purchase orders, invoices are processed and monitored weekly;
  • Programs and services are diverse and offered in accordance with project plans
  • Course outlines and lesson plans are available for all programs and services;
  • Staff are scheduled effectively and efficiently;
  • Attendance and participation data reports are submitted monthly;
  • Program opening and closing checklists are completed and documented;
  • Program space and equipment are clean and in good repair;
  • Fire and Emergency Response duties are completed and documented.
