Job Description:

Shift
:Monday to Friday with 8hour days and lots of potential for overtime

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and support to the Tradespeople
Assist with basic maintenance and repairs
Maintaining safe work practices
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there
Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time

Role Specifications:

2+ years of labour experience in an industrial environment is an asset
Valid Class 5 licence (
non GDL) with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Experience operating a Skidsteer, Telehandler / or Zoom Boom and Loader is an asset
The following tickets are required: H2S Alive and CSO
These certificates would be considered and asset: Confined Space
Entry & Monitor, CSTS09, Fall Protection & Mobile Elevated Work Platform
Able to provide a negative result on a preemployment drug and alcohol test

Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Prior experience working at heights with the use of special fall restraint equipment
Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
Experience and comfort with confined spaces such as a small vessel/tank or trench
Ability to work well in both independent and team environments and manage multiple tasks while working under mínimal supervision
