We are looking for a

Sales and Marketing Manager to join our Longworth team As the Sales and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for providing comprehensive service integration for the benefit of each resident from initial prospect contact, admission, and on a continuing basis. Additionally, as the Sales and Marketing Manager you will be required to plan, direct and coordinate the marketing and leasing of the Residence in conjunction with the other disciplines in order to maintain full occupancy.


About the Role:

  • Acts as a lead contact person, conducts personal visits, and acts as an occupancy agent for the Residence. Maintains a current database and personal follow up of prospects by utilizing the Salesforce platform and related procedures.
  • Prepares agreements and required documentation with future residents/tenants. Meet with future residents/tenants for review and signing documents. Coordinate admission process with the future residents/tenants, management team and staff.
  • Ensures new resident suite readiness prior to arrival, visits to new residents to welcome them, to outline service programs and to discuss their interests and capabilities and ensure a smooth transition into the Retirement Residence.
  • Completes market evaluation of current trends and industry changes in local market and a competitive analysis for the continued success of the Residence's occupancy and competitive advantages.
  • Designs, implements and evaluates a marketing strategy in cooperation with the General Manager that meets or exceeds the Company's occupancy objectives.
  • Plans and prepares marketing budgets related to the complete marketing plan (i.e. expenses, events, all media advertising and promotional planning). Follows the marketing plan and budget by diligent oversight and execution. Works cooperatively with Sifton's Corporate Marketing team regarding all forms of promotion including advertising, website, Facebook, campaigns and branding.
  • Participates in the Manager On Duty (MOD) rotational schedule.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in related studies from a recognized Community College or University.
  • Course(s) in Gerontology and Marketing.
  • Knowledge of relevant government legislation and standards.
  • Experience in senior's residential living and care services.
  • Experience in sales and marketing with preference to industry related sales experience.
  • Must have a current driver's license and own transportation.
  • Selfdirected and teamoriented, with strong organization and problemsolving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstration of leadership and coaching skills. Experience in recruitment, policy implementation, and health and safety standards.
  • Flexible schedule; ability to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Must successfully complete a Police Records Check and disclose any convictions, charges, restraining orders, probation orders and/or warrants during the course of employment that affect in any way the clear Police Records Check.
  • Must provide documentation to support a Tuberculosis Skin Test (TST) or Medical Note from Physician stating free from infectious disease.
