The salary range for this position is:

Recruitment range:
$70,137- $77,330
starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.


Performance range:
starting salary to max of $91,214
is available through annual performance increases.

  • Job SummaryThe Gustavson School of Business offers a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sustainable Innovation, a Master of Global Business (MGB), a Master in Management (MM), and a PhD in International Management and Organization. All have an international focus embedded in their curricula and a strong experiential learning component. Scholarship and teaching at the school are strongly aligned around our areas of specialization (International Business, Entrepreneurship, Service Management, and Sustainability) and we are a leader in integrating curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Reporting to the Associate Director Operations and supporting the Program Directors, the Gill Graduate Master Program Manager (PM) will oversee and manage the day and weekend MBA programs including:

  • managing and coordinating all aspects of the program academic schedules
- designing and organizing program activities and special events
- advising students on program expectations and commitments, working actively with students to resolve challenges related to program participation and completion
- developing and implementing data collection processes and preparing analytical reports to senior management on metrics related to student career outcomes and program effectiveness for internal use and for the purposes of accreditations (i.e. AACSB, EQUIS) and external reporting (e.g. GMAC)
- preparing and updating program curriculum map
- managing, coordinating and documenting program planning meetings


The PM will be required to work closely with administrative team to ensure the students and programs are well supported.

The PM will be required to work some evenings and weekends in support of planned special events and regular program activities.


  • Job RequirementsAn undergraduate degree in business or related discipline, with a master's degree preferred, and at least 3 years' experience, including:
  • Working in an administrative capacity in a post-secondary, professional school, graduate program;
  • Advising postsecondary students;
  • Building rapport with internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, members of the business community and external service providers;
  • Ability to work effectively with standard office equipment and software (including MS Office, data tables, online survey and reporting software, etc);
  • Leading and supervising a unit or team;
  • Ability to effectively utilize data analysis tools including the development and production of reports.

In addition, this position requires:

  • The ability to work with large data sets and generate reports;
  • Familiarity with FAST, Banner or other student record management systems;
  • Familiarity with GMAC career outcome standards;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of team in a projectbased environment;
  • Proven track record achieving project goals on time and produce deliverables of a high quality;
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective, indepth research and to critically analyze results.
