Your mission:

To be responsible for the manufacturing of all our printed materials.

With an emphasis on achieving the highest levels of quality, you'll provide support to multiple areas of the business including Manufacturing, Creative Services, and Marketing.

In this position, you'll be playing a critical role by helping to meet our customer's needs with effective and efficient processes to deliver in the most timely manner possible.

In this role you will:


  • Process inventory transactions in a computerized accounting system
  • Maintain printing process
  • Plan area inventory
  • Complete updates for mechanical design of labels and printed materials and validate with Mechanical Engineering as needed
  • Validate and update graphic design as needed to ensure manufacturability and confirm approval from Creative Services
  • Maintain revision control and quality of all printed materials
  • Qualify current print shop capabilities to support the transfer of outsourced materials to inhouse production
  • Optimize printing process to ensure best solution for efficiency and quality
  • Fabricate and maintain facility signage for Hallowell and Garbally buildings
  • Train new employees on process, and inspect and QC new team members' work within printing process when necessary
  • Update and approve process documents as needed
  • Assist in ongoing inventory cycle count
  • Assist and support prototype process as needed
  • Provide warehouse with printed materials in a timely manner as needed
  • Escalate critical quality and safety issues to respective Supervisor/Manager
  • Report potential safety/health hazards to operators in the area
  • Fulfill printing requests from Marketing and Creative Services departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • Completed a Grade 12 education, College Diploma would be considered an asset
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the electronics manufacturing/production assembly field
  • Very strong hand/eye coordination, great manual dexterity
  • Great attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
  • The ability to effectively perform under pressure in a highpace environment
  • A passion for creating highquality products
  • A flexible mindset, curiosity, and desire to develop and learn new skills
  • Experience in operating print shop equipment would be considered an asset
  • Experience with graphic design would be considered an asset
  • Familiarity with cycle count and inventory control processes would be considered an asset
