Job Summary_

As an MOC coordinator, you will be responsible for technical dispatch for our fleet of A320 Aircraft. Supporting all maintenance activities and providing overall technical oversight for the operation. Have oversight of the maintenance operations control center.

Key Accountabilities:_


Area of Responsibility

  • Monitor aircraft serviceability status and liaise with maintenance providers to ensure expedited RTS.
  • React to calls from crews and ops control to resolve technical issues.
  • Support SOC to ensure ontime Technical dispatch of Canada Jetlines aircraft fleet.
  • Assist with timely identification of material requirements and logistics for unscheduled defects to ensure earliest resolution based on location, skills, equipment and manpower.
  • Work directly with maintenance production, daily, to ensure best practices are employed for correct defect rectification identification and material requirements.
  • Provide technical support (SME) to maintenance crews.
  • Carry out maintenance on aircraft when needed including A check support.
  • Provide continuous tracking of deferred defects including MEL, CDL and NEF items, to ensure corrective actions are accomplished within approved time limits.
  • Communicate with Maintenance organizations (including contract AMO's) regularly to ensure planned Work is accomplished.
  • Assist with ensuring troubleshooting, scheduling of aircraft, research and requisitioning of parts, as well as manpower for the rectification of all open defects.
  • Together with the appropriate personnel, assist with ensuring that required manpower, tooling and transportation to recover or repair unserviceable aircraft at an outstation is accomplished.
  • Responsible for monitoring and scheduling all of the unscheduled maintenance items MEL, CFD, and CDL.
  • Ensure no defects fall within recurrent defect criteria and escalate troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Monitor post flight reports and suggest preventative maintenance opportunities to minimize aircraft down time.
  • Maintain communication with our 3rd party maintenance providers through daily meetings to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed.
  • Provide technical oversight and support when needed.
  • Provide technical support to overseas operations as needed.
  • Travel to overseas operations as needed

Qualifications_


Education (Formal education requirements, including diplomas, degrees, etc.)

  • Aircraft Maintenance Diploma
    Minimum.

Experience

  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
    Preferred:
  • Previous MOC experience preferred. A320 Experience an asset

Certifications / Designations/ Licenses

  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
    Minimum:
  • A320 Endorsement
    Preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to spend extended time working at a computer work station.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Clerical and/or administrative experience
  • MS-Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • A highly selfmotivated individual with excellent organizational and quality service skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Professional, ethical, and committed to safety and excellence
  • Solid, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proven experience as a collaborator and strong desire to build trust and relationships
  • Ability to travel when needed.

Salary:
$85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
