About the co-op/internship program:

The Home Depot Canada Internship/Co-op Program is a paid 16-week internship, running from May - August 25th, 2023.

Job Summary:


What You Bring to the Role

  • Currently pursuing a university and/or college education in Industrial Engineering, Operations Consulting, Statistics or Computer Science or a related field of study will be considered a preferred qualification.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio and Power Point, and intermediate / advance knowledge with VBA
  • Ability to think independently and strong collaborator and team player
  • Ability to problem solve and handle ambiguous situations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Google BigQuery, Python, and R and SAS
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of statistical modelling (e.g. predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms)
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point
