- Contribute to day-to-day projects and LTP expectations through the leading and execution of maintenance projects, such as troubleshooting, executing PM, corrective maintenance, and assisting the Maintenance team.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance team, including providing feedback and conducting formal evaluations, to ensure employees have the right resource skills, competencies, and expertise to meet departments and agreed-upon objectives of the company.
- Completion of administrative duties within the department such as approving employee over-time, leading Dayforce updates, and ensuring vacation schedules are distributed and approved in a timely manner.
- Lead shift hand over meetings on a daily basis, providing project updates, assigning jobs, and communicate countermeasures when applicable.
- Support Maintenance Cost Containment objectives by tracking labor OT.
- Be an example for others by always directing and performing work in a safe manner and following the company's health and safety policy and procedures.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of prior maintenance supervisory experience in a production-manufacturing environment (within food services/baking is a strong asset).
- Advanced working knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and components.
- Working knowledge and experience in Automation, Industrial Process and Control system, PLC, Facility Maintenance, and Plant Equipment.
- Planning, scheduling & assigning ability while well experienced in defining priorities, required skills & resources.
- Computer-savvy; holds practical knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Multitasked in a fast-paced environment with lots of changes in direction based on business requirements.
