Logistic
Business Developer. We are a rapidly growing asset-based logistics provider, dedicated to delivering client-centric supply chain solutions across North America. With operations spanning across many logistics verticals, we are uniquely positioned to offer streamlined end-to-end logistics solutions across a multitude of sectors.


Responsibilities:


As a Business Development Manager your main role will be to grow Trans-Ontario's client and project base across North America.

Our unique position within the market and progressive culture allows you to focus on a specific market segment that excites you and/or one that you may already have key relationships and experience in.

The successful applicant will have a track record for exceeding sales goals and have a "win all" mentality.

The successful individual will be responsible for New Business Development, including tasks such as

  • Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities
  • Creating and managing a sales and growth funnel
  • Creating relationships and building rapport with prospective clients
  • Liaising with operations team to complete quotes, RFP, and prequal documentation

Requirements:


  • Minimum one year of sales experience in TRANSPORTATION industry
  • Outstanding closing deals skills
  • Motivation for sales, strong leadership and training skills
  • Transportation/Logistics market knowledge
  • Energetic, outgoing personality
  • Superior customer relation skills, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Computer knowledge
  • Proven track record of sales_._
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to land new business opportunities.
  • Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects.
  • Identify and qualify new customers.
  • Prospect new customers through lead generation, trade shows, followup, and cold calling.
  • Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
  • Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets
  • Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization
  • Build relationship and sell to clients through phone or oneonone.
Commission Structure is negotiable


Salary:
$50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
