The BOM Co-Ordinator is responsible for creating, modifying and maintaining our Engineering Changes Process. This is a fast paced and a high demand position.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Engineering

Major Accountabilities

  • Process Engineering Change Order from PLM (Arena) to ERP (QAD)
  • Ensure proper identification of engineering drawings, items, documents and Engineering Change Orders and that engineering metadata is entered in ERP (QAD) and PLM (Arena) systems correctly
  • Create Item Master, upload Bill of Material, coordinate approvals In Arena + QAD
  • Release items, drawings, ECO in accordance with company documentation processes and standards
  • Issue PCOs IN QAD and assign route for operations to work on
  • Track and followup on open engineering changes
  • Upload drawing from "pending" to "live" upon PCO implementation
  • Coordinating with Operation Leader for implementation of PCO/ECOs in QAD + Arena
  • Cordinating with Product Configurator Engineer for new model setup
  • SVN management

Essential Job Functions:

  • Generate daily Excel summary report for effective data management
  • Find process improvements for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Special Orders, Finance, Sales & Quality Control departments
  • Maintain PLM Arena system

Job Requirements:

  • College diploma and or postsecondary education/certification
  • 35 years working experience with Engineering Change Order Process administration
  • Able to read engineering drawings
  • QAD/Arena experience a plus
  • Good Excel/Word/Power Point skills
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Able to communicate and coordinate with multidepartments; teamwork is a must
  • Excellent English oral & written communication skills; French, Spanish or other languages would be an asset.

Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:


  • QAD/Arena: 1 year (preferred)
  • Order Process administration: 1 year (preferred)
