About You / What We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking Labourer 1's to join the Economic Development team in an auxiliary capacity. This opportunity is specifically to help with Canada Day and other summer events. Shifts include event day, event preparation and event clean up. You can also help out during event set up days and other summer event opportunities


In this role you will be working alongside the event planning team to help implement logistics plans for Coquitlam events such as Canada Day in Coquitlam, Summer Concert Series and more We are offering opportunities in operations in roles for pre-event, event day, and event strike.


The Labourer 1 roles assists us with delivering essential event operations including driving of event golf carts, set up of pop up tents, tables, chairs, signs, and sand bags etc.

Not only do you have a chance to contribute to the successful event implementation, you'll be part of the front line team that delivers excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

For this Labourer 1 position, completion of the 8th school grade or equivalent is a requirement.

This CUPE position has an hourly rate of $ rates). The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
