Handling Specialty is seeking Full-Time Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our growing team.

Position Description:
- Follow all OSHA and company policies and procedures.
- Utilize overhead cranes, forklifts and racking to efficiently prepare product for painting.
- Maintain and regulate in house paint storage levels
- Perform all post operations such as work with the quality department for final inspections, perform thickness inspection, adhesion checks and required sign offs and perform any necessary repairs.
- Must have experience in various abrasive blasting techniques.
- Must have experience in the prepping of material for final coatings utilizing hand tools and applicable solvents.
- Maintain all housekeeping practices and equipment maintenance.
- Must be highly dependable, detail oriented and a team player.
Must be available for 1:00pm to 9:30pm Shift.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 3 years experience in an industrial setting.
- Interpersonal communications skills.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Familiar with SSPC SP1, SP2, SP3, SP7, SP6, SP10, SP5 or NACE Equivalent NACE 1 to
- Efficient with airless and conventional paint equipment
- Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting Skills
- Capable of interpreting technical data sheets, and technical specifications
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, and paint schedules

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
