Branch Manager


Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.) one of Canada's premiere Construction Rental Companies presently require the following staff for our
Peterborough location.


This location is constantly growing in customer base and revenue, and is a busy, team-oriented facility that requires a dedicated, motivated individual.

Our
branch managers work at both the customer and employee level in order to ensure our continued success, and they are a key requirement in maintaining and developing lasting and loyal relationships.


Key Qualifications

  • The ability to maintain a personable, dedicated attitude in a fastpaced, hightempo environment;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills that promote an effective team environment;
  • A customercentric attitude and a strong focus on longterm customer relationships;
  • Experience with staff supervision including scheduling and training, inventory maintenance, reporting, counter duties, customer service and inside sales, and assisting in budgets and forecasting;
  • Excellent time management and organization abilities;
  • The flexibility to adapt to emergency and overtime arrangements;
  • Sharp attention to detail and effective paperwork organization;
  • The ability to perform customer dispute resolution in a timely and mutually agreeable manner;
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset;
  • Experience with rental management software considered an asset.
  • Support increased revenues, maximizing profitability with attentive cost control.
  • Knowledge of parts flow and service processes to support turnaround time of equipment in repair.
  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience in the rental industry or related field.
  • A clean driver's abstract is mandatory.
