Compositing Artist
Ghost VFX
Responsibilities:
- Create highlevel, photoreal liveaction composites using 2D, 2.5D, and/or 3D elements.
- Understand 3D multipass rendering techniques and color space concepts.
- Working with VFX color pipelines and the VFX production process.
Required Skills:
- VFX production experience using Nuke, Mocha Pro
- Ability to be a selfstarter and to be resourceful.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- A proven eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting
- Ability to work under pressure and take direction under tight production schedules while maintaining a high quality of work.
- Ability to work independently, solve creative problems efficiently, communicate ideas and concerns effectively, coordinate with other departments
Preferred Skills:
- At least 3 years production experience working in a photoreal/liveaction VFX pipeline; commercial, TV, or feature film experience, preferred.
- Have a working knowledge of VFX color pipelines, VFX production processes, and photographic reality
- Familiarity with other software packages is a plus, i.e. Maya, PF Track, Photoshop, Unreal, 3D Equalizer, Houdini
- Have a working knowledge of VFX color pipelines, VFX production processes, and photographic reality
Education:
- High School education or equivalent required.
- BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
