Summary
In this challenging and rewarding role you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Assisting Project Managers with a variety of tasks as assigned
- Coordinate with clients for documents to perform design and engineering for projects
- Attend site visits for site surveys to provide designers information to complete the designs
- Assist or perform flow tests
- Creating as build drawings
- Participate and use Procore for all project related tasks.
- Participate in request for information process (RFI Process)
- Maintain and update project directory
- Prepare, log, review and process appropriate paperwork/permits/documents for projects
- Involved in all areas of project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, warranty work etc.
- 12 years of project coordination experience, preferably Fire Protection Industry
- Post-Secondary Education in either a fire protection or mechanical related program
- Previous knowledge and working experience in Procore for project management tasks an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written a must
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with strict deadlines
- Fire Sprinkler Industry or Construction Industry experience an asset
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Experience working with Excel, Word, AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willing to travel as required based on the location of current projects
