With the launch of the new Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), the Strategy and Communications team is looking for exceptional individuals who have a passion for project management, demonstrate the core values of Niagara Health and thrive in being part of a team that is committed to service excellence.

Your project coordination experience and project management knowledge will play a key role in supporting the transformation of patient care through the delivery of our Strategic Plan Portfolio of projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinate and lead various projectbased activities alongside the Project Manager including project delivery and change management deliverables during all project phases
  • Develop, maintain and promote the Centre of Excellence Project Management Tools and Templates that support our best practice Project Management methodology across the organization
  • Compiling of Project Portfolio Level reporting that will be presented to Senior Leadership Team
  • Budget Management support of the Project Portfolio
  • May lead ePMO projects that require coordination rather than project management rigor
  • Supporting other functions of the ePMO including project intake, prioritization and resource management
  • Support ePMO team meetings with agenda preparation and following up on action items

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Community College diploma in Business, IT or Healthcare related field required
  • Project Management Certification (CAPM) would be considered an asset
  • A minimum of three years project coordinator experience on large/complex projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that would be directed to all levels of the organization
Demonstrated experience in creating and managing SharePoint sites

  • Proven ability to work independently with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team
  • Demonstrated ability to employ problemsolving skills to remove obstacles and attain goals
  • Expertise in implementing new processes and/or procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with rapidly changing priorities
  • Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
  • Valid driver's license and access to vehicle for multisite hospital travel
  • Consistent and regular attendance required.
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
  • Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
