Imagination Station is a non-franchised, private daycare operating in the Ottawa -South since 2004. The daycare provides programs and care for both toddler and pre-school children.

Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Registered Early Childhood Educator or in ECE program
Police check for Vulnerable Sector
Immunizations uptodate
CPR and First Aid Level C

Some of the duties as an early childhood educator are:
Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers. Ensure daily all children safety, health and well
- being. Monitor staff performance and interactions with children.

Update all binders, including policies and procedures and forms. Review the weekly schedule.

Monitor and review daily logs in all classrooms including communication binders with parents. Monitor classrooms postings are up to date, especially postings for Anaphylactic, Asthma and Program Plan.

Monitor dates for the staff Ministry required documents i.e. Criminal Records Checks, CPR First Aid and others.

Review daily the classroom attendance, make sure attendance are up to date and numbers of recorded in each classroom.

Conduct daily inspections and remove hazards from all the classrooms to ensure children safety, health and well-being.

Salary:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
