Position Overview:

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of machines used at our facility in the production of aluminum product to exceed the demands of our customers.

We are a dynamic team that puts safety and quality first in everything that we do.

This position is on a rotating 12-hour continuous shift schedule and operators may be trained to work on a variety of machines.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Proof of grade 12 diploma or equivalent
A clean CPIC
Strong mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated strong work ethic, and reliability
Ambition to grow within a global company
Comfort performing common operations on a computer
A natural disposition for problem solving
A love of continuous learning
Previous work in a manufacturing or industrial setting an asset

Location Profile:
Novelis' Kingston facility located on the eastern end of Lake Ontario Kingston is midway between Toronto and Montreal.

275 employees cold roll finish and anneal aluminum used in automotive and specialty products for a wide array of customers in North America.
