What you will be doing:
_**
Planning, Consolidation, and Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Budget, periodic Forecast updates, and monthly R&Os
  • Coordinate inputs from cross functional teams and other finance and business owners
  • Data input management into the planning tools for budgets and forecasts, including reconciliation activities and issue resolution.
  • Lead the preparation and creation of monthly performance analysis, issue investigation and correction, as well as reconciliation of data in various systems
  • Prepare General Ledger Income Statement daily during month end close, analyse variances and implement necessary corrective actions
  • Develop management reporting and executive presentations of financial status for budget, forecasts and market reviews.
  • Develop offline analysis to support risk and opportunity analysis. Liaise with operational teams to review model and derivative mix and optimize local market equation.
  • Liaise with the UK HQ on JLRC financial reporting inputs & requirements
  • Provide operations with key performance metrics as needed

Pricing Support

  • Partner with the UK HQ team to calculate and record transfer price updates;
  • Support Product Pricing team with financial analysis, including option take rates, local variable costs, central costs valuation, mix modelling, etc.

Customer Service and Parts Support

  • Financial and process analysis for customer service support programs, parts operations and logistics, including control of FME, VME and FSE spend
  • Assist the Customer Service and Parts Department in the development of analytical reporting, reconciliations and forecasting/budgeting
  • Prepare and analyse the Parts and Service P&L to ensure alignment between JLR business performance and forecast assumptions
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of the Budget and Forecast submissions for all local variable and fixed costs.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis including new program / business case evaluation.
  • Provide financial support and guidance to the Customer Service area according to corporate and financial policy.
  • Review and approval of customer credit limits.

Customs Support

  • Special moves (Vehicles & Parts)
  • Management of vehicles while in the Country on a temporary basis (ie. Vehicles used for auto shows, media events, & training). Prepare required customs documentation for import & export.
  • Audit of vehicle entries: spot check of entry value, duty, & tax.
  • Review & Process monthly Customs Broker invoices for fees, and Canada Customs invoices for duty & tax.
  • Other duties as required.

What you will need:
_**- BA/BS Degree

  • Accounting/Finance Preferred; MBA Preferred ;
  • Finance certification desirable
  • 57 years of Finance/Accounting or related business experience
  • Advanced financial/accounting skills, knowledge of related processes and systems
  • Stong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships.
  • Experience of business partnering with balance of challenge and supporting operation teams
  • Selfstarter; Ability to deal with large volumes of complex data sets and report simple messages to management.
  • Understanding and experience of corporate budgeting, controlling and reporting
  • Expert Excel Skills; Proficiency in working with large spreadsheets
  • Expert knowledge of SAP, Hyperion or other consolidation, planning and reporting solutions
  • Process Management
  • Strong analytical background
  • International experience or experience in a multinational company a plus
