Diamond Head Consulting, an award-winning environmental consulting firm based in Vancouver, is seeking an
Environmental Planner / Urban Forest Planner.

The Planner would join our planning team focused on urban forestry and environmental planning projects for a range of clients including local governments, institutions, and First Nations governments.


Primary duties and responsibilities would be:

  • Support projects and clients on a variety of urban forestry and environmental planning projects
  • Support the design and facilitation of community and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide written content and analysis for strategic and policy planning projects related to the management of environmental assets
  • Assist with proposal development
  • Degree in a related field (e.g. Planning, Urban Forestry, related Environmental field, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with or within local government
  • Experience designing and facilitating community and/or stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, and GIS will be considered an asset
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative team member, with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. The ability to independently problem-solve is essential.
