Qualifications:

Essential:

Completion of a post secondary education in the field of Information Systems, Business Analysis, or an equivalent combination of formal education, training and related experience may be considered
Experience eliciting business requirements for technology related projects (BA2 only)
Experience creating process maps (BA2 only)
Experience leading and coordinating user acceptance activities including; creating test plans, designing and developing test scripts, executing test scripts, test cycle closure/reporting (BA2 only)
Experience developing user training manuals and help manuals (BA2 only)
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (BA2 only)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective verbal communication skills
Effective writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, logical material

Desired:

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (BA2 only)
Experience collaborating with technology providers to design, develop, and implement technology solutions (BA2 only)
A strong understanding of current and emerging technologies

Duties:

The Business Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and support of business systems used by Manitoba Justice. The Business Analyst will also work with technology suppliers to support the development and implementation of new business solutions.
