Manager Business Deposit Strategy & Support, Treasury & Cash Management - Corporate Client Group


What is the opportunity?


As Manager Business Deposit Strategy & Support, you will work closely with the Vice President Business Deposit Strategy to assist with day to day transactions, and collaborate with CCG OneTCM team regularly.

You will help to deliver on the strategic business priorities to support the OneTCM Team to grow and retain deposit and investment opportunities.


What will you do?

  • Supports Vice President Business Deposit Strategy with day to day transactions, as needed and/or project related activities such as pricing guidelines and recommendations, process or; servicing opportunities or issues, related documentation, reporting, tracking etc.
  • Support OneTCM to deliver on the strategic business priorities of increasing Deposit & Investment volumes & revenue with large and multinational, domestic, Corporate and/or Public Sector entities
  • Work to become a "Subject Matter Expert" within OneTCM team for Deposit & Investment solutions, operational matters, and training & development to the OneTCM team
  • Contributor to the National OneTCM Deposit & Investment business plan, goals and deposit strategy
  • Delivers Deposit & Investment business advice, competitive intelligence and new insights to OneTCM team with a unique perspective, using industry and economic insights to support an effective and meaningful client discovery sessions to uncover hidden business challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate with OneTCM team regularly and while working closely with the broader group and partners to development, onboarding, and servicing is meeting client needs for Deposit & Investment solutions
  • Support OneTCM team during RFP process, reviewing requirements, opportunities and solutions to win or retain business on an enterprise basis, as needed
  • Recognizes opportunities for, and supports the development of; innovative products, processes and sales tools & solutions that meet client needs and place RBC as a market leader as it relates to Deposit & Investment solutions
  • Maintain and update the team internal SharePoint, databases, tracking templates, sales tools and Connect sites on a regular basis, including organization, archiving, and timely posting of materials

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years banking and sales experience with a strong knowledge of: RBC systems, ADI/BVI platforms and deep knowledge of GIC and other investment products and systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exacting attention to detail related to customized contract documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with key partners
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member
  • Ability to analyze data and results against KPIs to suggest improvements and optimization
  • A conceptual thinker with an innovative mindset
  • Excellent research, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, with strong attention to details and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Advanced technical capabilities in using programs: VISIO, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, MS Access

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
