Note:
this is an office position requiring travel between flour and feed mills as required.


Your day-to-day activities will include:


  • Provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders and frontline managers in areas such as performance management, progressive discipline, salary administration, conflict resolution, training and career development, attendance management and employee/labour relations.
  • Liaises as a single point of contact for both managers and employees within an assigned client group.
  • Assist management with collective agreement administration and interpretation, grievance investigation and resolution, and bargaining support.
  • Provide coaching to all levels of employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Participate in HR related projects and initiatives, including policy development, communications, and training.
  • Identify and evaluate industry best practices and business trends and capitalize on opportunities that will improve the company's competitive advantage.
  • Partner with leaders, managers, and the HR/Talent team to achieve business results.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or operations is required.
  • Previous experience in labour relations is required.
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 68 years of Human Resources experience, with demonstrated progression in HR roles and responsibilities.
  • Must have strong problemsolving skills with an ability to recommend and influence leaders on solutions to complex issues.
  • Must be flexible in your ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, having a high tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty as business conditions change.
