Base rate of $41.63 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
50% rough carpentry and 50% finish carpentry
Ability to install and finish drywall, painting, interior systems, Tbar ceilings and finish carpentry.
Class 5 Drivers License (not GDL)
To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson or 34th year in the trade of Carpentry
Good Physical Condition and able to twist and bend, and perform repetitive type movements
Able to push/pull up to 50 lbs
Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Able to work at heights
Experience working on industrial sites would be considered an asset
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
