Accounts Receivable Clerk
Trealmont Transport Inc., established in 1925 continues to expand its Canadian Operations with growth within our Trealmont Trade Lane Inc.
Trealmont Trade Lane (TTL) co-ordinates the physical movement of goods in a timely and proficient manner between a Seller and a Buyer.
At TTL, we act on our client's behalf to navigate problems that can arise at the interface between transportation modes; local barriers to the movement of goods due to infrastructure, strike or congestion; or to smooth the legal or documentary challenges that arise between jurisdictions.
And we do it all within the cost or financial limitations of the underlying commercial transaction as well as within the target delivery period.
Trealmont Logistics is looking for an
Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team who will correctly bill clients for goods or services, work with other departments to verify and record transactions and resolve account discrepancies.
They will also collect the correct amounts from their customers/vendors on time by providing the necessary support throughout those processes.

Responsibilities:
- Perform collection as per established guidelines
- Issue daily AR report
- Inform Operations Team of received payments
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Sorting, deposit & posting of incoming customer checks
- Issue Warranty credit memos
- If required, issue weekly Customer Ageing Reports
- Enter journals, general ledger, invoicing, and adjust entries
- Logging all bank deposits and reconcile them weekly
- And other duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
Qualifications:
- College Degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, very good computer skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong English Language skills, oral and written; French skills an asset
- Must be organized and able to multitask.
- One year experience required.
