1) Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records of HOPE projects and research grants via invoicing, patient honoraria, and working with SRI Finance to submit quarterly/annual financial reports.
  • Support the HOPE manager and research staff with legal agreements related to all projects.
  • Provide efficient search, retrieval and management of scientific papers using online library services.
  • Coordinate scheduling of medical students/residents/fellows in Clinical Pharmacology, as well as Clinical Pharmacology weekly rounds.
  • The Canadian Association for Population Therapeutics (CAPT) is a national organization that holds an annual threeday conference in October with 200+ attendees. CAPT Board members volunteer their time to be part of committees such as membership, partnership, and scientific. As the CAPT Administrator, booking, attending and taking minutes of Zoom meetings of the CAPT committees is required.
  • Work with CAPT's website design team to update with conference details such as registrations and abstract submission, and also work with the conference venue team via booking and paying fees.

2) Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree or Business Secretarial Diploma.
  • Minimum 3 years of office administration experience within a hospital/university/research environment preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral/written communication, office management, and organizational skills.
  • Superior grammar and proofreading skills; accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, good judgement, and maintain confidentiality.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
