    In this dynamic role, you will be at the helm of a diverse team of Project Managers and Support Specialists, guiding them towards achieving our project objectives and strategic business goals.

    The scope of projects under your leadership is diverse, spanning from straightforward upgrade tasks to extensive projects involving new unit steam turbine generator sets.

    How You'll Make an Impact Be a part of the project management team and be globally responsible for our products within your area of responsibility.

    Track business performance and project progress and be responsible for profit and losses of the projects.
    Offer support to project managers in handling critical issues and customer concerns, ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
    Recruit, train, and manage the team to ensure business needs are met.
    Champion an agile environment within the organization, fostering adaptability and responsiveness. Assign new projects, taking into consideration factors such as project scope, lead time, skill sets, and workload. You will be entrusted with making critical decisions on project prioritization when necessary due to resource limitations.

    As a key liaison, you interact with and support various departments including sales, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to ensure project success and foster collaboration.

    Identify, assess, and inform higher management of internal and external issues that affect the business.
    Ensure safety and quality are prioritized throughout the business.
    Be responsible for creating and sharing project specific lessons learned and eliminating/reducing project Non-Conformance Cost's.

    What You Bring 10+ years overall engineering experience, among which at least 5 years of prior experience serving as a manager and leader of people, preferably in Project Management, Proposal or Contract fields.

    A bachelor's degree in engineering. Master's degree in engineering or engineering Management preferred.
    Strong client relation skills, contract management, risk analysis and reporting skills.

    Your skills extend to building and maintaining robust networks and relationships, along with the ability to effectively communicate across various levels, including with remote teams.

    Your approach to leadership emphasizes the importance of inclusion and diversity, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for all.
    Your background is steeped in substantial leadership experience, complemented by a strong foundation in project management. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
