This is an interview position.
GENERAL SUMMARY To sell FedEx Services to both 'new' and 'existing' customers (primary focus:
net 'new' potential) with the key deliverable of achieving assigned revenue objectives (as measured and determined by FedEx). Acts as team lead and assists manager in providing coaching/training/etc. to junior/new staff members and assumes responsibility for additional tasks/duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Educational Requirements
Post Secondary:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Minimum number of years required for entry to this job
- Sales 1 year
- FedEx Sales or Inside Sale
Technical Skill Requirements
Solid knowledge of the following:
- Knowledge of selling FedEx services (preferred)
- FedEx features of service, billing systems, pricing structures, invoice adjustments
Computer literacy and proficiency:
- Microsoft Excel basic
- Microsoft Word basic
- Microsoft Power Point basic
- Microsoft Outlook standard
- Sales Force Automation preferred
- Demonstrated a track record of achieving results
- Good interpersonal skills
- Negotiation skills
- Organizational skills
- Selfmotivated
- Strong oral, written, and presentation
- Communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and within a group
- Commitment to task
- Overcomes objections/obstacles
