Some Daily Responsibilities:
- Site set up.
- Removing and disposing of old roofing materials
- Loading and unloading materials
- Job site cleanup
- Installation of a variety of roofing systems
- Job leadership to new work
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a commercial construction setting (intermediate to skilled level)
- Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of construction safety and OH&S policies
- Standard First Aid Level C, Fall Protection and Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certificate
- Boom/Scissor lift or skid steer certifications considered an asset
- Experience and understanding in, formwork, and concrete processes for winter construction is an asset
- Must possess a valid form of governmentissued photo identification
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Team player who is dependable and reliable
- Ability to abide by all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fastpaced, and safe environment on both the roof and ground
- Prior roofing experience considered an asset
- Fall protection certification considered an asset
- First Aid Level 1 considered an asset
- Red Seal Roofer Ticket considered an asset
- Architectural Sheet Metal Certificate considered an asset
- Ability to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladder
Salary:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
