- Responsible for all clerical duties that are designed to support and maintain the day to day function of the Unit.
- Responsible for maintaining communication within the unit including answering telephone and redirecting calls to the appropriate staff, contacting switchboard, booking appointments, referrals, and consults, using the paging system, emails and fax.
- Assist with transporting of patients, equipment, supplies, charts, specimens.
- Responsible for cleaning and replenishing rooms and equipment, while adhering to safe handling practices and infection control policies.
- Responsible for ordering, delivering and distributing linen and supplies.
- Routine restock supplies.
- Assist with patient care throughout the episode of care, ensuring patient mobility, care, comfort and safety.
- Sundry duties as assigned.
