We are looking for a fabulous Administrative Assistant to support our construction team on the Portage la Prairie Hospital project in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

This is a full time contractual position for the project duration.

Here's how an Administrative Assistant for our Portage la Prairie Hospital project contributes to our team:


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting daytoday operations by performing administrative tasks for manager, or team members.
  • Developing and maintaining customerfocused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages for manager, or team members.
  • Ensuring appropriate document control and compliance through filing, composing, and editing documents and reports for Portage la Prairie Hospital project.
  • Assisting with planning meetings and distributing information.
  • Ordering office supplies for Portage la Prairie Hospital project.
  • Supporting mail distribution and courier requests.
  • Greeting visitors and answering their questions, directing them to meeting rooms, and connecting them with Portage la Prairie Hospital project team members (if applicable).

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in office administration program considered an asset.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents/presentations.
  • Basic skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
