Torrent Shotcrete is looking for a construction delivery driver with the ability to work in a team environment and be able to adapt to changing site conditions.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Load and unload trucks with a small forklift.
  • Deliver scaffold and supplies to projects in the GVRD on a 2 ton flat deck truck.
  • Provide safe delivery of products from our yard in Coquitlam to our job sites.
  • Coordinate with field personnel regarding delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate with job site personnel when delivering to job sites.
  • Provide professional and reliable service throughout the delivery process.
  • Perform pretrip inspections.
  • Organize equipment at our yard.
  • Assist with the organization and cleaning of our shop/yard.
  • Track inventory.

Requirements:


  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Delivery driving experience.
  • Strong English language skills, oral and written.
  • Good physical condition with the strength and ability to consistently lift and move large and heavy objects.
  • Construction experience an asset but not required.
  • Forklift experience an asset. Forklift training certification an asset.
  • Understanding of the lower mainland trucking routes an asset but not required.
  • Excellent work ethic and highly organized, reliable and responsible.
  • Friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Flexible work availability. Available to work as required early mornings, occasional weeknights and weekends.

Salary:
$25.00-$32.00 per hour
