That's why we have a team of reimbursement specialists who work closely with patients and healthcare providers to ensure that our patients have access to the medications they need, regardless of their financial situation.
About the Position:
Reporting to our Reimbursement Manager, as the Pharmacy Navigation Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service, and that our pharmacy navigators are properly trained and supported in their roles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the pharmacy navigator team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers who need assistance navigating the specialty pharmacy process.
- Ensure that patient care is coordinated and seamless throughout the entire care continuum.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy navigator team.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, health plans, and healthcare providers.
- Communicate with patients, prescribers, healthcare professionals and other key player to support patients through their treatment journey
- Verify and investigate insurance coverage and benefits for patients, including eligibility, copayments, deductibles, and prior authorizations.
- Liase with private and public insurance providers to determine coverage options
- Keep uptodate with changes in insurance coverage and reimbursement policies, and communicate these changes to healthcare providers and patients.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in pharmacy or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a specialty pharmacy or similar setting.
- Experience managing a team of pharmacy navigators or other healthcare professionals (3 years)
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
