Description

The Supervisor, FP&A is responsible for providing management with useful and accurate financial information on a timely basis by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

The Supervisor, FP&A will take a leading role in developing financial plans and forecasts, and conduct analysis on actual results with the accountability for planning and analyzing gross profit and incentives.


Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in annual financial budgets development, monthly financial forecasts, and monthly budget variance analysis
  • Monthly detail reporting of the business' operating results on a comparative basis with the budget, including sales, cost of sales, and incentives. All necessary analysis and followup of discrepancies/comparative differences in product margins and operating expenses including the investigation of senior management queries of operating results
  • Work closely with the accounting team for quarterly review and annual audit process
  • Participate in establishing/improving accounting processes to ensure best practices in place
  • Assist with special projects and prepare adhoc reports as needed

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting
  • At least 6~8 years of experience in corporate finance, including minimum 2~3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis role
  • Practical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and financial analysis techniques
  • Solid understanding of financial closing processes including financial transaction flows from the source to the general ledger
  • Sound analytical ability and problemsolving skills with the ability to clearly identify problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Handy working knowledge with SAP and advanced MS office skills
  • Pursuing accounting designation would be an asset
  • Bilingual in Korean would be a strong asset
