You as the Quality Lead will:

  • Run the Quality program with respect to the development and implementation of the quality program and project-specific quality plans.
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance measures are adequate for the scope of work and address project requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings as required to ensure quality items are communicated and addressed.
  • Train and provide support to the project team to ensure that all members of the team are familiar with the requirements of the quality plan and fully understand their authorities and responsibilities in the process.
  • Coordinate and support quality control and quality assurance activities on the project including, but not limited to, QA/QC meetings, quality checklists, inspection and testing, quality records, deficiency management
  • Ensure that all quality records associated with the implementation of the quality program are received, reviewed, and maintained according to the project's document control structure.
  • Assist in the identification of project risks and the associated quality control and quality assurance measures required.
  • Assist with onsite inspections and documentation to ensure that various construction activities are completed in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.

Is this the right role for you?

  • 25 years of constructionrelated experience, preferably in quality control/quality assurance.
  • Experience developing and implementing project quality plans
  • Working knowledge of quality management practices (ex. ISO 9001) and other relevant codes and standards related to construction (ex. CSA A23.1)
  • Exceptional time management and detailoriented.
  • Ability to plan and organize work in a clear, concise, and punctual manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Selfdirected, motivated team player who thrives in a fastpaced environment
