TCU Place continues to experience rapid change through the entire organization, directly impacting our Finance Department. We are positioned to welcome an
Accounting Clerk 12 to help stabilize our team and processes.

Reporting to the Director of Finance while working alongside the accounting and finance team, this full-time, permanent position will support all departments with accounting and finance functions related to TCU Place operations.

Proficient accounting skills and relationship development will ensure the success of the
Accounting Clerk 12.

Matches invoices and purchase orders, verifies and enters accounts payable into the accounting system and issues payments including international wire transfer
Reconcile company credit cards and coordinate payment
Reconcile supplier statements and maintain supplier information
Enters bar sales into database and record payments
Prepare liquor and concession reconciliations and support inventory counts including any adjusting entries.
Prepare cash withdrawls for cash floats
Petty cash management
Reconcile accounts and prepare journals with supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts.
Assists as needed in compilation, verification, and preparation of GST, PST, and LCT returns within the required timelines.
Payoll duties, as required.
Accounts receivable as required.
Prepares and records journal entries.
Maintain procedures documentation for assigned duties.
Other general finance duties.

Grade 12 education.
Successful completion of a oneyear postsecondary businessrelated program plus or including:

Introductory Accounting 1

Introductory Accounting 2

Intermediate Accounting 1

Intermediate Accounting 2

Management Accounting 1

Management Accounting 2

Commercial Law

Five years' related experience.

Hours of Work:

Evening and weekend work may be required

Salary:

$61, $68,077.68 CUPE Rates
