As Manager, Operations, your main responsibility will be the growth and business development of AMA's sales of towing equipment, accessories, and parts programs to the towing industry and CAA Clubs across Canada through You will also oversee the efficient operations of the Maintenance and Fabrication Facility at the Edmonton Service Centre North to ensure work is conducted cost-effectively and the fabrication facility team is supported through your leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to the Manager, Fleet Operations.
  • Lead sales growth of AMA's towing equipment, accessories, and parts programs to the towing industry and CAA Clubs across Canada through
  • Lead and promote new equipment builds for external clients to expand revenue streams.
  • Building and optimizing the sales funnel by clearly articulating goals, identifying the target audience, creating awareness, converting sales, and maintaining customer retention.
  • Manage and prioritize all aspects of fleet maintenance activities in Edmonton to ensure prompt, safe, and reliable Roadside Assistance (RSA) services.
  • Provide leadership to the fabrication facility team including fleet mechanics and ensure they have the necessary training, tools, and equipment for timely service to AMA members.
  • Develop and provide efficient processes for maintenance, fabrication, and repair procedures, including timely documentation.
  • Continually encourage and seek out innovative ideas to improve AMA's fleet and keep up with industry advancements
  • Oversight over all inventory and repair work orders for AMA.
  • Collaborate with the Automotive Services leadership team to address issues, improve member services, and contribute to strategic and operational plans.
  • Management of Account Receivables for work provided for clients, communicating with customers regarding billing inquiries, and regular review of the accounts receivable aging report.
  • Monitor sales data, analyze client interactions, and recommend additions to the website.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have a high school diploma.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in effective team leadership, ideally in industrial sales or client relationship management.
  • The following certificates and licenses would be an asset:
  • Business management certification
  • Journeyman Mechanic (Canadian Red Seal)
  • AMVIC Automotive Salesperson Certificate
  • You have a proven track record of leading sales growth through client acquisition, customer retention, and expanding revenue streams.
  • You have demonstrated experience contributing to business tactics and strategies with a thorough knowledge and understanding of diverse operational needs.
  • You have experience in operations, analysis, planning and process improvement.
  • You have experience with performance management (goal setting, measuring, monitoring and execution skills).
  • You've proven that you know how to get highquality results and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.
