Responsibilities:

Recruitment, Onboarding, and Employee Management

  • Craft and post job advertisements.
  • Schedule and oversee new hire training and drug & alcohol testing for new hires.
  • Conduct comprehensive employee orientations and input new employee data into internal software system.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records
  • Provide daytoday support to employees, and handle disciplinary actions.
  • Prepare and distribute termination and layoff letters when necessary; conduct exit interviews to gather feedback.
Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance

  • Administer and communicate raises and reviews, ensuring changes are accurately reflected in payroll.
  • Oversee benefits administration, manage the Lifestyle Incentive Program, and advise managers on employment standards and relevant legislation.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation for both employees and managers.
Organizational Structure and Training

  • Identify potential improvements for internal software system.
  • Develop and maintain organizational charts.
  • Coordinate employee mentorship programs to foster skill development and career growth.

Supervision and Office Management:

  • Attend weekly/monthly Operations, HR, and Safety meetings.
  • Support organizational change, and manage the merging of company processes.
  • Plan and complete various ad hoc projects related to HR and Operations.
  • Provide daytoday HR support to employees, assisting with goal setting and performance management.

Requirements:


  • Proven working experience as a Human Resources Manager
  • Peopleoriented and resultsdriven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Indepth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
