The role we are offering you:

The incumbent (HRBP) of the position is responsible for aligning the company's objectives with those of employees and management in the designated business units.

The incumbent is responsible for strategic partnerships in the Maintenance, Commercial and Business Aviation business unit as well as the Business Development division and for providing operational advice and support.

The incumbent oversees the delivery of HR services such as talent management, engagement, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and change management.

Close integration within the company and the Human Resources support team will also be required.


The Maintenance, Commercial and Business Aviation group is pursuing its growth strategy and has offices in Canada, the United States, Malaysia and on the European continent.


This is a 1 year temporary contract.

  • Participate in the implementation of HR action plans, programs and projects to support the strategic objectives of the Maintenance organization.
  • Act as a business partner in the identification of workforce issues (skills development, retention and motivation), the development and implementation of actions required to address operational challenges, and the development of leaders.
  • Conducts oneonone effectiveness coaching with leaders to improve leadership capability or the resolution of leadership gaps. Coaches leaders to facilitate organizational change and model an inclusive environment.
  • Contributes to expanding the workforce diversity of the client's organization and building inclusive leadership practices
  • Participate in the implementation of change management plans and exercise influence over the various partners within CAE.
  • Provide recommendations to encourage employee engagement.
  • Advise managers' management teams with regard to HR programs, policies and procedures, compensation, training, employee relations, performance management and succession planning to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the transformation of the organization within the scope of various continuous improvement projects.
  • Roll out various corporate programs and initiatives within client groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources.
  • 57 years of progressive experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.
  • Knowledge of the US Labor Law (preference)
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, everchanging Human Resources environment.
  • Proven experience in change management combined with a business acumen.
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated professional and emotional maturity and judgment to handle sensitive situations with integrity, diplomacy, tact and high ethical standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written
  • French and English) combined with strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • The incumbent must have excellent problem solving skills in order to act as an internal advisor and a guide for the management team and for employees with regard to all human resourcesrelated matters.
  • Excellent customer service skills complemented with sound judgment and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and of human resources information systems (HRIS).
