Physiotherapy Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring they follow instructions and perform exercises correctly.
- Provide encouragement and motivation to patients during their rehabilitation exercises.
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and treatment areas regularly.
- Keep treatment areas, exercise equipment, and the overall workspace clean and organized.
- Ensure all supplies are well-stocked and readily available.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and billing when necessary.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient focused.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not mandatory.
Working Conditions:
- Fulltime or parttime position available.
