Location:
Markham, Ontario

We are hiring for multiple co-op/intern positions that vary between on-site and hybrid. Students will be required to work in the office on a schedule based on the team's requirements.


Program Term:12-month position from May 6, April 25, 2025


The Role
In this position, you will maintain and upgrade reporting infrastructure in Power Query, SQL Server and Python. Sample projects include data analysis in periodic reports, report automation using Power Query and resource forecasting modeling


What you'll be doing

  • Engage in process and report automation using Power Query and Python
  • Collect and consolidate data to generate business reports
  • Analyze current business processes, identify critical areas for improvement, and subsequently implement solutions
  • Managing product & technology presentations needed for executive meetings

Key Qualifications

  • 3rd year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field/discipline
  • Returning to school following the coop term
  • Written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
Please have knowledge of one or more of the following technical skills:

  • Experience with data processing and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau is an asset
  • MS Office proficiency with strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, etc.) and some exposure to Microsoft Flow Strong understanding in reporting, financial analysis, costtracking, and business acumen
